I'm Adam Kirkland, and AK Performance Tuning is me. There's no call centre and no team of strangers. The person you speak to on the phone is the person who turns up and does the work.
Fully mobile, from Wantage
I'm based in Wantage, Oxfordshire, and I don't have a workshop for you to visit. Every job is done where your car already is: your driveway, your workplace car park or wherever it's parked. You don't drop anything off, wait around or need a lift home.
I cover Oxford, Reading and Swindon, the towns around them, and further out across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire and Surrey.
What I do
AdBlue, DPF and EGR work, ECU remapping, DSG gearbox servicing, carbon cleaning, vehicle trackers, key replacement, locksmith call-outs and general mobile mechanical work. I also service most makes, with Audi, VW, Skoda, Seat and Volvo a speciality.
If a job needs a workshop, a ramp or a bay, I'll tell you so rather than take on something I can't finish properly.

Is it really just you doing the work?
Yes. Every job that comes through AK Performance Tuning is done by me personally, from the first phone call to the finished job.
Where are you based?
Wantage, in Oxfordshire. There's no workshop to visit, though, because I come to you.
What hours do you work?
Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. I'm closed on Sundays.
Do you take on jobs you can't do mobile?
No. If a car needs a workshop, a ramp or a bay, such as a DSG clutch or mechatronic repair, I'll tell you rather than start a job I can't finish properly.
